Maxwell Street Sunday “taco nirvana”
The original Maxwell Street Market was established by newly arrived Eastern European residents and this Sunday only affair was a precursor to the modern day flea market. Today, the Sunday only street market carries on and serves some of the Windy City’s best street food. We will explore the hand crafted Mexican cuisine of the street and compare and contrast the best Mexican foods of Pilsen and the Little Village. Who knows, you may even find that odd ball purchase you have been looking for?
Chicago’s neighborhoods have always been the city’s greatest strength.
